The firm employs over 70 members of staff of which there are 20 fee earners dedicated to the provision of Criminal Defence services.

Employment Law Update: The Bribery Act 2010

The Bribery Act 2010 (“The Act”) comes into force on 1st July 2011, modernising the current laws on bribery. The Act sets out four offences.

Interesting case published which deals with Police Station deadlines and police bail. Added 29 June 2011.

GMP v Hookway. A very important case in relation to police bail. Essentially, it has been held by the High Court that the custody clock continues when the detained person is released on bail. This decision will be appealed.
